Working with our Operations Director in Thailand, Gary Van Zuylen, World Fund Aid identifies areas of concern, either for the individual animal that is suffering, or for welfare and conservation issues as a whole.

The conservation side of our work includes animal behaviour research, surveying possible release sites and statistical studies, all of which might support long-term reintroduction attempts for certain animals.
Our response varies. In some cases we re-home animals in existing centres, in others, we build new sanctuaries when needed. We endeavour to address all areas of the animals needs, from providing food, dietary supplements, veterinary care and the necessary time and attention to give them a better quality of life.

What WFA Does

We feel the key to succeeding in all of this is EDUCATION . Thus WFA have helped fund an education centre for hill tribe children in northern Thailand. We hope this will mark the beginning of helping to change perceptions and attitudes towards animals in this area and throughout Thailand.
